Depart in the morning from  the hotel to start trip in Mandalay, tourists go on a scenic two-hour drive to the former British hill station of Maymyo, now officially called Pyin Oo Lwin. The town is located on a plateau 1000m above sea level and renowned for its cool weather and lush foliage. Many historical marks of the colonial era are still exist in Pyin Oo Lwin, including brick and timber houses with British names and the Botanical Gardens to the south of town.

Visitors can come to a local market in the center of the town where a colourful array of goods are for sale such as locally-produced jams, and fruit wines. Tourists have chance to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with some traditional dishes .

In the afternoon, travellers can take a horse or carriage ride crossing the town to see the historical houses including the Candacraig which was built in 1905. Dropping off at the 175-hectare Botanical Gardens, visitors can take a relaxing walk though the beautifully-landscaped gardens.

Tourists return to Mandalay in the late afternoon to end the fantastic journey.
